I'm interested in a trial class. How do I schedule one?We are so happy to hear you are interested in trying a class with us! We recommend filling out our Waiver online and within the waiver, you can let us know which class(es) you are interested in trying. Then, we will email you to schedule a class. Or if you are in the neighborhood, please stop by the front desk and have a chat with us about when you'd like to come in. Walk-ins for trial classes are always welcome!

I loved my trial class and want to sign up. What do I do now?If you loved your trial class, we usually can sign you up immediately after class! However, if no one is available at the front desk, you may complete your Member Registration online. Please visit our Pricing Page and choose the appropriate pricing plan that matches the class(es) you would like to sign up for. When signing up, please keep in mind that your "Start Date" is the same date you will be charged on, monthly. For example, if you choose January 1st as your Start Date, you will be charged again the following month, on February 1st. As well, please note even if you choose a future date as your start date, payment will be taken out of your account immediately upon payment. Regarding your uniform purchases, you can also do that online. Please visit our Shop Page and we will have your items ready for pickup at the front desk the next time you are in class! Of course, if it's more convenient for you, we can always do your initial sign up and uniform purchases in person at the front desk. Is there a month-minimum to sign up or is Thrive Membership month-to-month?When you sign up with us at Thrive, you are on a month-to-month contract. If you need to cancel your membership at any time, please let us know within the 30 days of your next payment date otherwise you will be charged another month upon your cancellation. We do not allow membership "pauses" at this time unless you are seriously injured which prevents you from training or need a bereavement leave. What is the youngest age I can sign up my child for jiu-jitsu?Five years old is the youngest we take for our kids Gi jiu-jitsu classes. However, we can take your child if they are four years old after an evaluation during a trial class. If we feel they are capable of taking our classes, then we will be more than happy to sign you up with us! If your child would like to attend no-Gi classes, we recommend they are at least six years old.

Is there a uniform requirement at Thrive? Can I bring my own Gi to train in?Here at Thrive all members who wish to participate in our Brazilian Jiu-jitsu classes - whether a child or adult - you are required to purchase a Gi and Rash Guard from us. We do not allow members to train in 3rd party Gis. For No-Gi, all members - whether a child or adult - are required to have a Thrive rash guard. For Muay Thai, all members - whether a child or adult - are required to have at least a Muay Thai shirt and/or Thrive shorts. If you are unsure of your size, you are always more than welcome to come in and try on our Thrive merchandise to see what fits you best. During your trial class, we will give you a lender uniform to gauge what size you need to buy after becoming a member with us. You can make your uniform purchases online by visiting our Shop Page or we will be happy to complete your uniform purchases in person at the front desk.

Do you offer any promotions or discounts for members?Yes, we offer membership discounts to those in active duty Armed Forces or Veterans of Armed Forces, Law Enforcement and First Responders. For members of three or more, we offer family discounts. Family members must reside under the same address for the discount to be applicable. If any of the above are applicable to you or your family, please message us first prior to signing up.
